Weightless

About this project

Weightless is a bench designed to follow the ergonomic form of the human body, making the sitter feel 'weightless'. The design exploits the capabilities of 3D printing and the material's form. The joints are both celebrated and hidden through inactive and active joint designs. An experimental element uses flexible TPU material, spreading weight across multiple intertwined bands for comfort and structural integrity.
