Flow

About this project

Flow is a pendant that simulates water through a Möbius strip form. There is so much to learn from water — how to go with the flow, make your way through obstacles, and adapt to change. Water takes many forms, from sprinkles to rain; it can be beautiful or deadly. To me, it evokes a memory of home; the beach, calm and clear after a warm sunny day during summer. That feeling of cleansing is refreshing. This pendant symbolises all of that in a way that is truly remarkable and beautiful to see. The work explores the relationship between fluidity and material form. With influences from the calmest waves and an endless motion cycle, new synergies are synthesised as opaque and transparent layers.
